Originally from Meath, Bob graduated from Irelands top medical school, UCD of course, in 2014. Following an intern year in the Mater, Bob spent 2 years working in Perth, Western Australia before embarking on surgical training in 2017. Despite initially wanting to train as a paediatric cardiothoracic surgeon or a liver transplant surgeon, he decided urology was a far more sensible decision. He is looking forward to being part of ISTG, particularly as a wizened elder role during his final year of urology training.
